The chosen Buildings

Salam alaikom

i have chosen three mosques to make the desired study on.....

they are

1- Sultan Zaher Mosque  665 Hijre

2- Amir Sorghetmeesh Mosque and Medrasa 757 Hijre

3- Sultan Al-Ghuri ( Ghory) Mosque and Medrasa 909 Hijre


The methodology was to choose

1- same function building-type

2- different era

3- being distributed through the Mamluki era due to the realtionship with the Fatimid , being at the time of the flourish of Mamluki civilization and the last building was preserved from the Mamluki era

soon i will publish their details and some information about these buildings

اختيار المباني

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته

تم اختيار ثلاثة مباني للدراسة و هي

1- جامع السلطان الظاهر بيبرس 665 هـ

2-مسجد و مدرسة الأمير صرغتمش 757 هـ

3- مسجد و مدرسة السلطان الغوري 909 هـ

منهجية اختيار المباني

- المباني المختارة اتفقت في الوظيفة
- المباني المختارة في فترات زمنية مختلفة تم تحديدها على أساس بداية العصر المملوكي و التأثر بالفاطميين ثم أوج العصر المملوكي و ازدهاره في منتصف العصر ثم أخيرا آخر المباني المملوكية التي تم انشاؤها قبل زوال الحكم المملوكي من مصر

و سيتم التعريف بكل هذه المباني قريبا ان شاء الله

دراسة مقارنة بين ثلاثة مباني من العصر المملوكي

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته

بما أني من المهتمين بالعمارة الإسلامية و على وجه الخصوص العصر المملوكي بقسميه البحرية و الشراكسة لأسباب كثيرة...............أهمها أني أعتقد انها كانت فترة حاول فيها المسلمون احياء حضارتهم و فنهم و عمارتهم و أفكارهم مرة أخرى بعد تشويه الفاطميين (الشيعة ) لأغلب المظاهر الدينية و العقدية الإسلامية الصافية ........بل و حاولوا طمس معالم الانتماء للصحابة و التابعين عن طريق اهمال تام لمساجد هي أعرق و أقدم من الأزهر مثل مسجد عمرو بن العاص رضي الله عنه و مساجد الفترة الطولونية....
و محاولة جذب المصريين المتدينين بطبعهم إلى الجانب الشيعي عن طريق الإغراق في (مظاهر ) حب آل البيت و بناء الأضرحة و المدارس التي نشرت الفكر الشيعي و التي حتى الآن نعاني من بعض مظاهر هذا التأثير

ربما لم تكن العمارة المملوكية هي العمارة الخالصة بل لقد شابها الكثير من الأخطاء - العقدية أيضا - مثل بناء المساجد على الأضرحة و بناء القبب فوق الأضرحة و نشر الاتجاه الصوفي الذي يقترب من المذهب الشيعي في كثير من المناطق سواء العقدية أو الفقهية و ان كانا يتفقان في مسألة الغلو في آل البيت.......و للأسف أقولها أن أغلب آل البيت في مصر يعملون على نشر الاتجاه الصوفي.....على الرغم من أخطائه العقدية الكبيرة........و لكن هذا لا يعني توثيق هذا الفكر على أنه الفكر المسيطر على كل آل البيت........و لعلي لأني من آل البيت فأنا اعلم تماما قوة هذا الاتجاه و دعم نشر هذا الفكر من العديد من المنظمات الشيعية و غيرها.....
نعود للعمارة :).....لهذا فالعمارة المملوكية كانت الأقرب من وسط العصور الإسلامية من بعد العصر النبوي و عصر الخلفاء الراشدين للأفكار و المعتقدات الإسلامية بل و حاولوا اعادة صياغتها في إطار جديد من التقريب بين التصوف و التشيع مع أهل السنة

حتى الآن لم يقع اختياري على المباني و لكني قررت اختيار ثلاثة مباني من العصر المملوكي يقع كل واحد منهم في حقبة مختلفة من العصر المملوكي كي تتم ملاحظة و تسجيل التطور الفكري المعماري و ظهور آثار التحول الفكري في العمارة المملوكية

انتظروا قريبا اختيار المباني ان شاء الله

A Comparetive Study for Three Mamluki Mosques

as I am interested in Islamic Architecture and especially into Mamluki period...........as i think it is the period which moslims tried to reveal again the true Islamic concepts after the Fatimid period which contained alot of mistaken conecpts from the Shiti thoughts and relegion.

- It is clear that Mamluki period wasn't a perfect period as there is alot of non-pure Islamic concepts which appeared in that period architecure as the mosoleums in mosques which is totaly forbidden in Islam . They tried to atract the Egyptian people by that semi-shiti concepts to redistribute the Sunni thoughts

so, I have decided to make a coparison between three mosques in that period to see how the thoughts where changed and where is the key of that change

i still didnt choose the buildings but i will announce them soon isA

after documenting this building................we have come to the end of this building

really very nice trip for me to this place......i have good memories of that site...

some notes i have taken is theere is no awareness about how this Islamic Architecture monument is priceless.............it is a jewel remains from the first Islamic periods

i have captured some photos to the engineer ( or call it architect ) who designed the Nilometer .........these are his photos

The Coloumn Base

This is the base of the measuring coloumn ................u can see how the section of the building changes due to water motion and dynamics..........the first section shape was a circle to make the water go circularly ...........that will decrease the impact effect on the walls .............

then the section goes to be a square..........which controls the motion and make it stable to be measured.....

this is a very complicated engineering solutions to be done in that periods and prove how genius were those people
